We’ll help you understand how all the pieces of your body work together — and create a plan that respects that.
You’ll always know why we’re recommending something — and how it supports your health long-term.
We understand that visiting a chiropractor for the first time can feel a little overwhelming—especially if you’re new to this type of care. That’s why we aim to make your first experience as comfortable and informative as possible.
1
After you book your appointment, we’ll send you a link to a short online form to complete at home. This form collects important details about your medical history and current health to help us prepare for your consultation.
2
When you arrive at the clinic, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our front desk team, who will check you in and ensure everything is ready for your appointment.
3
Once you’re settled, your chiropractor will greet you and take you to a private consultation room. There, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your symptoms, health concerns, and any goals you have for your care. Your chiropractor will take the time to listen and understand your unique situation.
4
Next, they’ll perform a thorough physical assessment, which may include observing your posture, checking your range of motion, and gently examining any areas of discomfort.
5
Based on your assessment, your chiropractor will create a personalised treatment plan designed to address your needs. This may include spinal or joint adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and specific exercises to support your recovery and improve function.
6
Throughout your visit, your chiropractor will explain each step and answer any questions you may have. If ongoing care is recommended, they’ll discuss your options and work with you to develop a plan that fits your lifestyle.

Book NowChiropractors are qualified allied health professionals who assess, diagnose, and manage conditions affecting the muscles, joints, bones, and nervous system. With five years of university training, they use a range of hands-on techniques to help relieve pain, improve movement, and support overall physical function.
Your initial consultation will go for 30 minutes where your chiropractor will review your medical history and carry out a comprehensive physical examination to help determine the cause of your concern. Based on their findings, they will discuss a tailored treatment plan with you. If appropriate and safe to do so, your first treatment may be provided during this visit. Should further investigation be required, referrals for imaging or to other healthcare professionals will be arranged. Ongoing treatment sessions generally include hands-on manual therapy such as spinal adjustments, soft tissue techniques, and personalised exercise advice.
Chiropractic and Exercise Physiology is generally not covered by Medicare. However, for chronic conditions, a patient may be eligible for a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM) or Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC) referral from their GP. With this referral, Medicare will cover roughly $60 per session, up to five sessions with any allied health provider.
Yes, absolutely. Chiropractic care during pregnancy is gentle and carefully tailored to suit each stage of pregnancy. As the body adapts to the growing baby, significant changes occur in the spine and pelvis. Chiropractic treatment can help relieve back, pelvic, and postural discomfort, while also supporting optimal pelvic alignment and function. Our chiropractors are trained in safe, pregnancy-specific techniques to ensure effective and appropriate care throughout your pregnancy.
Do you accept Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA)Yes, we do accept DVA (Department of Veterans’ Affairs) referrals. If you hold a DVA Gold Card or have an eligible condition under a DVA White Card, you may be entitled to fully funded chiropractic or exercise physiology services. You’ll need a referral from your GP before starting treatment. Once referred, we’ll bill DVA directly, so there’s no out-of-pocket cost for you. Please contact us if you have any questions or need help getting started.

All three are qualified allied health professionals who help people manage pain, improve movement, and recover from injury—but each brings a unique approach and area of expertise.
Chiropractors, like those at our clinic, complete five years of university training with a strong focus on the spine, nervous system, and musculoskeletal system. They are highly skilled in diagnosing and treating spinal and joint issues using hands-on techniques such as spinal adjustments, mobilisation, and soft tissue therapy. Chiropractic care is especially effective for conditions like back and neck pain, headaches, sciatica, and postural dysfunction.
Physiotherapists typically complete a four-year degree and use a broader range of rehabilitation techniques, often incorporating stretches, exercises, and physical therapies to support recovery after surgery or injury.
Exercise Physiologists are specialists in movement and long-term health management. They develop tailored exercise programs to help with chronic conditions, injury recovery, and improving physical function over time. We’re proud to have Dr Jack Messer, who is both a qualified Chiropractor and Accredited Exercise Physiologist, offering patients the best of both worlds—hands-on treatment combined with evidence-based rehabilitation planning.
At our clinic, we offer an integrated approach to care, so whether your needs are spinal, muscular, or movement-based, we’ll work with you to develop the most effective treatment plan.
If you’ve been referred under an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) / Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan, or you hold a Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) card, we’re able to provide care as part of your approved treatment plan. Our team works closely with your GP or healthcare provider to ensure your care is coordinated, effective, and aligned with your health goals.
